Die Idee zu dieser ersten Kollektion entstand während unseres letzten Aufenthaltes in Mendoza Argentinien. Die Anpflanzung von Weinreben ist in dieser Region des Landes weit verbreitet. Nicht nur aufgrund der beliebten Früchte, sondern ebenfalls der im Sommer schattenspendenden und im Winter lichtdurchlässigen Eigenschaften, werden sie gerne in Form von Weinpergolas auf Grundstücken angepflanzt.

Mit ihren Sprossranken greifen die Pflanzen nach jeglichem Halt, welchen sie schließlich umschlingen und sich auf diesem Wege voran bewegen. Ihre verwunschenen und nicht vorhersehbaren Formen sind Reaktionen auf Berührungsreize.

Dadurch steckt ein ganzes Stück persönlicher Erinnerungen in dieser Kollektion und macht sie zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

	„Una de cal y otra de arena“ - dieses Sprichwort beschreibt metaphorisch, wie aus der ausgewogenen Zusammenstellung der ganz unterschiedlichen Komponenten Kalk und Sand etwas Neues entsteht. Die Wurzel der Redewendung liegt in der Herstellung des Kalkmörtels - bestehend aus jenen zwei Elementen und ein häufig verwendeter Grundbaustoff. 
Zur Herstellung werden beide Komponenten benötigt.
Zusammen bilden sie eine perfekt ausbalancierte Einheit. 


Von diesem Gedanken inspiriert kombinieren auch wir unsere Materialien mit der Absicht, ein harmonisches und langlebiges Neues zu schaffen.Das Projekt startete im Mai 2018 und entwickelt sich seitdem gemütlich weiter. Ohne klassische Ausbildung aber mit viel Neugier, Selbststudium und Experimenten fertigen wir unseren Schmuck weder mit fester Basis noch strengem Produktionszyklus an.
 Stets abhängig von Zeit und Materialien.

 Wie wir aktuell arbeiten:
Unsere Werkstoffe bestehen zum überwiegenden Teil aus in der Natur gesammelten Schätzen, Überresten aus anderen Produktionen sowie gefundenen Schmuckstücken, die in den neuen kreativen Prozess eingeschlossen werden.
 Für Ohrhaken oder -stecker, haben wir uns dazu entschieden Feinsilberdrähte aus 935/000 recyceltem Silber zu verwenden, um auch sensible Ohren zu berücksichtigen.
Unsere Herstellung basiert auf liebevoller Handarbeit. Alle Ohrringe werden von uns entworfen, zusammengefügt und finden in einer ebenfalls handgefertigten Box ihr neues Zuhause. 
Auch kleinste Bestandteile, wie Haken und Ösen, werden selbst erstellt. 
Bei Mitteln wie Lot oder Klebstoff, beschränken wir uns auf ein Minimum, limitieren uns auf natürliche Stoffe oder bemühen uns möglichst andere Lösungen zu finden, 
um Natur und Mensch nicht unnötig zu belasten.

Worauf wir hinarbeiten:
Unser Ziel ist es, zukünftig möglichst alle Materialien für unseren Schmuck sowie die Verpackungen aus nicht mehr verwendeten Objekten oder Stoffen zu beziehen und ihnen somit einen neuen Sinn zu geben. Wir möchten Fähigkeiten, wie der filigranen Handarbeit und dem kreativen Umdenken erneut einen hohen Stellenwert geben, sie mit ressourcenschonenden Reflexionen in Verbindung bringen und zeigen, dass diese im Schmuck-Handwerk einen wichtigen und sinnvollen Platz einnehmen.
